Atlantic Ciment Contract – CDI China

Atlantic Ciment, a subsidiary of the Anouar Invest Holding, has signed a major agreement with the Chinese group CDI (Chengdu Design & Research Institute of Building Materials Industry Co., Ltd) – SINOMA for the design and construction of its cement plant in the Settat region of Morocco. The plant will have a production capacity of 2.2 million tons of cement per year, in compliance with Moroccan standards and using the best available technologies in terms of efficiency and environmental protection. The project, with a total investment of 3 billion dirhams, is scheduled to begin construction in the first quarter of 2015, with commissioning planned for January 2018.
